Last night PZ Meyers spoke at a conference here in Bloomington. He suggested that one thing scientists can do to increase understanding and acceptance of evolution is to humanize public perception of themselves and their activity by blogging more. I’ve also found that blogging helps me be more aware of and think more broadly about where I am and what I do. So I’m trying it out. It appears I can’t host blog software on my IU site, so for now the blog is here. I expect eventually it’ll move somewhere more academic, and audiopedestrian can go back to being a place to share photos and music. But for now…
